AI-assist and privacy: What you need to know?

We take privacy very seriously, and we understand that using AI raises concerns. As for how we protect your privacy, you can find our complete privacy statement here.
To provide you with the best possible results, we also have to rely on a third-party service to process your input. Currently, we use OpenAI’s API, and you can review their privacy policy here. According to their policies, they do not use data submitted through their API to train models. However, they retain submitted data for a limited period to comply with legal requirements before deleting it.
As a general rule of thumb, if your organization restricts the use of ChatGPT, it’s likely that you shouldn’t use our AI-assist either. If ChatGPT is allowed, you can most likely use our AI assist without any issues.

Is there a cost to using the AI assist?

The Tom’s Planner Gantt chart AI is free of charge, and initially, there is no need to sign up. To save and continue working on an AI generated Gantt chart, you’ll need to sign up for a (free) account, though. Our free Personal account allows for only one Gantt chart. Our paid-for Professional and Unlimited accounts allow for multiple Gantt charts and will enable you to print, export, and share your Gantt charts online with others. For more details, click here.

Does the AI assist work in all languages?

Yes, in a separate step, the AI will determine the language you use in your input and then use this language for all the suggestions it makes for you. We have seen our users use it in a wide range of languages from English to Chinese, Hindi and Arabic.
