Depending on your account type you can own (and share) a certain number of schedules at the same time.

Typically the project manager has a paid account to create and share multiple schedules with his or her team members and the team members have a free account to be able to collaborate on the various schedules of the project manager.

All Tom's Planner updates are free no matter what kind of account you have. Note: some new features might only be available to paid accounts.

Publish online
You can choose an url to publish your schedule online. When changes are made to the project schedule, the published version will always be updated automatically. Others can view the last version of the project schedule simply by visiting the url in their web browser. They don't need to sign up with Tom's Planner. As the owner of a schedule, you can protect your schedule with a password.

Collaborate online
You can collaborate on your schedules online and in real-time with your team members. When you invite someone else you can choose to give them read and/or write access to your schedules.

If you receive an invitation to collaborate on a schedule, a free account will suffice. If you want to invite others to collaborate on your schedules you will need a paid account.

Print & Export to Image
You can export your schedules to an image that can be included in, for instance, your PowerPoint presentation or Word documents. You can also choose to print your schedule on one page or multiple pages.
Upload Company Logo
In the left bottom corner you will find a Tom's Planner logo. In paid versions of Tom's Planner you can hide this logo or replace it with one of your own logos.
Export to MS Project
As your project evolves and grows in complexity you might need a tool more targeted at professional planners like MS Project. With Tom's Planner you can always export your schedule to MS Project.
Back Up & Save Locally
You can choose to save your schedule offline on your own computer. If your schedule contains confidential information and you don't feel comfortable storing it on our servers, this might be an option for you.
Embed project schedules
You can embed schedules on any website, your intranet, Google wave or any project blog. It works the same as embedding your YouTube videos.
Collaboration in project teams
Typically in a project team the project ma- nager has a paid account and all the other participants have free accounts. If you re- ceived an invitation to collaborate on a schedule, a free account will suffice. If you want to invite others to collaborate on your schedules you will need a paid account.

Do I have to install Tom's Planner?
No. Tom's Planner doesn't require installation or setup. Just click the 'open tool' link at the right top corner of this website and you are ready to start working.
I received an invitation to collaborate on a schedule. Do I need a paid account?
No. If you get an invitation to collaborate on someone's project schedule you can sign up for a free account and view & edit other project plans.
Does my whole team need a paid version?
No. As a project manager you can invite others in your team to collaborate on your project plans if you have a paid account. The others can use a free account to view and/or edit your project schedules.
How do I cancel my account?
Just login in the tool and click the 'cancel account' button in the settings panel. There is no notice period.
Do I have to sign up for a long term?
No. Tom's Planner is a pay-as-you-go service. You can pay per quarter (every 3 months) or per year. You can cancel your account easily and any time you like.
Can I change plans at any time?
You can up- or downgrade your account any time you like. When you upgrade or downgrade we will prorate the remainder of your old subscription to your new subscription.
How do I upgrade or downgrade?
To up- or downgrade please login in the tool and click the up- or downgrade button in the settings panel.
What types of payment are accepted?
You can pay for a Tom's Planner account with almost every possible payment method available, on and offline. This includes a wide selection of Credit or Debit cards, Bank and Wire transfers and payments through services like: Ideal, PayPal, Alipay and Giropay. You can even wire money or send a check.
